San Francisco’s book and design store PRESS will be making their Japan debut. A shop-in-shop will open at Shinjuku’s destination Tokyo from Saturday, July 9 and Omotesando’s H.P.DECO from Friday, July 29.

PRESS is a book and design store in San Francisco, owned by Paulina Nassar and Nick Sarno. Established in 2011, PRESS has become a destination for out of print and first edition art, fashion, design, craft, and counterculture books, new titles published by small and independent presses, unique stationary products from around the world, and design objects from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Conceived in-part as a response to the traditional bookstore, the books in PRESS are highly curated and reflect the personalities and backgrounds of the owners.
