New York based artist John Derian is known for his craft in decorating objects with paper cut-outs, known as decoupage.
Decoupage originated from Siberian tomb art and made its way to Europe in the 18th century as a form of decorative art.
In his atelier, John Derian replicates art from the 18th and 19th centuries and places it under glass to create his exquisite pieces.
