BAtoMA

BAtoMA, an interior goods, art and design trade show, first held in October 2010, will open its doors again, for the fourth time this upcoming May 24-26, 2013 at Laforet Harajuku Museum. Acting as a catalyst to spread a bit of holiday spirit in Japan, this edition's theme is Christmas.

Where most exhibitions and trade shows limit entry to industry insiders and the media, BAtoMA has set specific days where the general public can also partake in the festivities. In alignment with this season's theme, exhibitors will display various decorations, ornaments, and other trinkets reminiscent of Christmas.

Artist Nathalie Lete to visit Usagi pour toi!

We are brimming with excitement to announce that Ms. Nathalie Leve will be visiting Usagi pour toi! Ms. Leve's work became available in the Japanese market after H.P. FRANCE president, Takanao Muramatsu, saw her work on display at a miscellaneous goods store in Paris, and arranged an in-person meeting.

For the past 14 years, Nathalie Leve's work has strongly influenced Usagi pour toi. Leve herself hand-painted the store's logo, shop banner and various promotional material.

She will be visiting usagi pour toi and performing live paintings as follows:

NEW CITY ART FAIR Osaka
April 25-28th

In an effort to raise awareness of (1) Japanese artists and (2) Art in general to the Japanese public, NEW CITY ART FAIR was established in March 2012, with its first exhibition in NYC. The 2nd installation was held in Taipei in 2012 and welcomed over 35,000 visitors. The 3rd installation will be on Japanese soil for the 1st time in Osaka. This exhibition consists not of solo artists, but of work selected by various galleries.
