"Don't Rain On My Parade" は1968年のミュージカル映画、Funny Girl の有名な曲。昨日の夜、この映画をみて、大好きになった!!

先週の土曜日、ツタヤでこのDVDを借りてきたよ。ばかばかしくって、怖い映画を見たいと思ってたから、きっとそれにぴったりだと思ってたんだよね。。。でも、ものすごくよかった!! すごくいい映画!! 大好き!! 何にも知らない人のために、概要を載せておくね:

Last Saturday, I rented this dvd from Tsutaya. At first, I thought this movie was going to be very stupid and that was exactly what I wanted to see: a stupid and scary movie... but I LOVED IT!! It was SOOO INTENSE!! And it was VERY GOOOD!! For those who doesn't know anything about it, here is the plot:

"スキー客がリフトに取り残されて、生死の選択を迫られる。危険を冒すか、凍えて死ぬか"。。。楽しみ!!


次の朝、なんでなんだか、パンケーキをバナナの形に焼くことにした。。。何か映画と関係があるのかな???!!!

The next morning, I don't know why, but I decided to cook my pancakes the shape of a banana... Is there any connection with the movie???!!!

アイ ラヴ WALL-E!!!

WALL-E はPixar Animation Studiosによる、今年のSFコンピューターアニメのロマンス映画です。汚染された地球をクリーンにするために作られたWALL-Eという名前のロボットの物語。EVAというロボットと恋に落ち、彼女を追って宇宙への冒険に旅立つのです。

この映画はとてもよくできていて、絶対に見るべき!!! 美しい"一目惚れ"の物語だからね!!!

 

I LOVE WALL-E!!!

WALL-E is a 2008 computer-animated-science fiction-romance film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It follows the story of a robot named WALL-E who is designed to clean up a polluted Earth. He eventually falls in love with another robot named EVE, and follows her into outer space on an adventure.

I strongly recommend to watch this movie as it is very cleverly done and because it is a beautiful "Love at first sight" story!!!

一昨日、渋谷から池袋まで、初めて副都心線に乗ってみました！ 

名高い建築家・安藤忠雄による新渋谷駅は、今はもう完全に壊されてしまった旧・東急文化会館の場所の真下に横たわっていました。楕円形の形をした、この「地下宇宙船」に、私はいたく感動させられました。

 

この楕円スペースの直径は80メートル、短径は24メートルです。中央には地下3階から5階までの楕円形をした吹き抜けのスペースが広がっています。

 

 

この建築を見ていると、1997年に作成されたSF映画の『ガタカ』を思い出します。この映画は皆さんに強くお勧めしたい名作です！　この映画はインスピレーションの塊で、人間の未来についての興味深いビジョンを見せてくれます。とにかく2回以上見てください。2回見ないと見過ごしてしまいそうな、微妙なディテールがたくさんあるのです！

 

問題は、この『ガタカ』も"90年代"の傑作映画の一つであり、そのことも、新渋谷駅の建築を見て私が思ったことだったのです・・・・。どこかで、この建築はあまりにも90年代的な未来像です！　私には、これがはるかにモダンであったかもしれないと思えるのです！

  

Before yesterday, I have use for my first time the new Fukutoshin Line, running from Shibuya to Ikebukuro!

I have been quite impressed by the new Shibuya Station, designed by renowned architect Tadao Ando with an oval-shaped "underground spaceship" that lies beneath the site of the now-razed Tokyu Bunkakaikan building.

The oval space stretches 80 meters and is about 24 meters wide. The middle is an open oval space between the third to fifth underground levels.

It really makes me remember of the 1997 science fiction drama film "Gattaca", which I really would like to recommend you! This movie is really inspiring and offers an interesting vision of the human's future. Make sure you watch it more than twice. There are many subtle details that you'll miss if you don't!

The problem is that "Gattaca" is one of the more outstanding movies of the "nineties" and that is also what I thought about the architecture of the Shibuya station... Somewhere, it is too much 90's vision of the future! It could have been much more modern, I think!

最近、私は人体の内部に非常に関心があります。そういうこともあり、昨日、子供の頃に見た記憶がある、ある映画のDVDを買いに行きました。

リチャード・フライシャー監督による1966年制作のSF映画『ミクロの決死圏』です。ストーリーは、通常の方法では治癒することのできない傷を治すため、ある科学者たちのチームが身体を小型化され、人体の内部に注入される・・・という内容です！

映画の冒頭で、タイトルや俳優名が流れる画面は見事です！　ものすごくモダン！　映画のほかの部分は少々サイケデリックでキッチュすぎる部分もありますが・・・、でも科学者たちと一緒に、人体の内部へ、喉を通り、心臓を通り、そして心臓の内部へ・・・と旅してゆくのは非常に面白いです。最後には、彼らは目の一角から人体の外へ脱出するのです、なんと、涙に乗って！　素晴らしい！　ポスターに描かれているのはそのシーンです。心臓の鼓動の音などが入った、サウンドトラックもまた素晴らしいです。

Recently, I am very interested in the inside of the Human body. That's why, yesterday, I went to buy the dvd of a movie, which I remember I saw when I was a child...
"Fantastic Voyage" is a 1966 science-fiction movie, directed by Richard Fleischer. The story is about a team of scientists that are miniaturized and injected into a human body in an effort to repair a wound that can't be fixed through the usual means!!!
The beginning of the movie, with the title and actors names, is awesome!!! Sooo modern! Then, the rest of the movie is a little bit too psychedelic and kitsch... But it is still very interesting to travel with those scientists inside of the throat, the heart, the inner hear... And then, finally, they will come out from the body through the corner of the eye, where they escape via a teardrop!!! Great!!! That is what you can see on the poster of the movie!!! The soundtrack is also really great, with heartbeating sounds, etc... Watch the trailer here and run to the video store to see again that very inspiring movie!

今日は、9つのドメスティック・ブランドの次回秋冬コレクションを見に、原宿で行われている合同展示会"EYE"に行ってきました。

次シーズンの中で、一番気に入っているアイテムは"banal chic bizarre"のリメークされたヴィンテージのパーカー！ 

ネオンカラーとグラフィックスのMIXが素晴らしい！オーバーサイズのトップスになったり、またパンツになったり、いろんな着方ができる優れもの。

 

あと、前シーズンにベルリンで見つけた"Ohta"のコレクションもとてもよかったです。

すでにこの春夏からWut berlinでセレクトしているブランド。素敵なプリントがあるのは相変わらず、でも色はずっと秋の雰囲気で、少しエスニックの香りも感じました。ベストアイテムは、この日デザイナーが着ていた、ライトグリーンのオーバーサイズカーディガン！

もうひとつのお気に入りのアイテムは、もう5シーズンもセレクトしているブランド"rimple"のコレクションから。 グランジスタイルのニットとドレープドレスをミックスしたベージュのワンピース。 このワンピースは、ガス・ヴァン・サントの映画『Last Days』でカート・コバーンがドレスを着ているシーンを思い出します・・・・。それにしても、この映画はかなりお薦めです！！  

Today, I went in Harajuku to check the collective exhibition "EYE", where nine Japanese brands are exhibiting their next Autumn-Winter collection.

My favorite item for the next season is this vintage remake parka by "banal chic bizarre". I love

the mix of neon colors and graphics. You can wear it in many ways as an oversize top or a pants!

 

I also love the collection of the designer "Ohta", who I met for the first time in Berlin actually! 

I already selected his brand for this spring-summer, which you can find at Wut berlin store. The next season, there are still very nice illustrations printed on his clothes, but the colors are much more autumnal, with a little ethnic feel. One of the best item is worn by the designer himself on the picture: a light green oversize wool cardigan!

 

Another good collection is the one from "rimple", a brand which I select since five seasons already!

I like their mix of drape dress with grunge style knit, in beige tones. It makes me remember of the Gus Van Sant's movie, 『Last Days』, when Kurt Cobain wears a dress... A very nice movie, by the way!  

 

今日、『CONTROL』という映画を見てきました。"Joy Division"の作詞家兼ヴォーカリストだったイアン・カーティス（1956-1980）の生涯を描いた、アントン・コービン監督による伝記映画です。"Joy Division"というバンドについて何も知らないという人がいたら、今すぐCDショップに行って、『Transmission』とか『She's Lost Control』『Love Will Tear Us Apart』といった代表曲を聴いてみるよう強くお薦めします。

とても素晴らしい映画でした！　『CONTROL』はモノクロで撮られていますが、グレイトーンがとても印象的でした。俳優たちの演技は非常にリアリスティックで、大げさなところはなく、実際の人物の雰囲気をよく捉えた俳優たちがテーマに沿ったシンプルな格好で、彼ら（彼女たち）の人生を演じています。イアン・カーティス役の俳優、サム・ライリーはイアンのハートと魂を忠実に伝えていたと思います。

イアン・カーティスのファッションもすごく気に入りました！　ベルリンのADDというブランドの秋冬コレクションを思い出させるファッションでした（この写真を見てください）！　それに、私にとって、Joy Divisionのソウルとベルリンの雰囲気にはとても強い関連があるのです。ベルリンのあちこちのバーやクラブでJoy Divisionのサウンドを背景に飲んだり踊ったりした素敵な記憶がたくさんあるものですから‥‥。

これは、Joy Divisionが『Transmission』を演奏しているTVパフォーマンスです。Enjoy!

Today, I went to see the movie "CONTROL" directed by Anton Corbijn, which tell the story of Ian Curtis (1956-1980), who was the vocalist and lyricist of the band "Joy Division". If you don't know anything about "Joy Division", I really recommend you to run to a CD store and to listen some of their most famous songs, like "Transmission", "She's Lost Control" or "Love Will Tear Us Apart".

The movie is really great!!! "Control" was shot in black and white, but shades of gray dominate. The performance of the actors is very realistic, not overacting. Where many biopic actors simply dress like the subject and re-enact his or her life, actor Sam Riley (Ian Curtis) truly conveys Ian's heart and soul.

Also, I love the fashion of Ian Curtis! It makes me remember the next Fall-Winter collection of the Berlin brand ADD (see the pictures!)! And it is true that there is a strong connection between the soul of Joy Division and the atmosphere of Berlin. I have many good memories of drinking and dancing on the sound of Joy Division in some bars or clubs in Berlin...
