For Christmas, I have decided to show Takashi Nishiyama's work at Wut berlin, because he is one of the most Avant-Garde Young Japanese designer in Tokyo.

今年のクリスマス、Wut berlin では Takashi Nishiyama を紹介することとなりました。東京で一番アヴァン・ギャルドな若手デザイナーの一人。

Inspired by Tokusatsu and anime heroes, as well as the real-life heroes who emerged after the Tohoku earthquake, Takashi Nishiyama's latest collection "WE ARE ALL ONE, THE HERO OF ONE" is an absolute joy to behold.

特撮とアニメのヒーロー、また東日本大震災後に現れた現実のヒーロー達からインスピレーションを受けた最新の "WE ARE ALL ONE, THE HERO OF ONE" は見るに値するコレクション。

Wut berlin will show mainly one item that almost would not fit down a runway... It is about 4 metres wide and took 6 months to create! A Couture Tree in Wut berlin!!

Wut berlin ではランウェイ以外ではちょっとフィットしない１つのアイテム（4メートルの幅があり、製作時間は6ヶ月!)をメインにディスプレイがされます。Wut berlin のクチュール・ツリー!!

Born in 1987, Takashi Nishiyama attended Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo between 2006 and 2009. After Bunka, he began advanced courses at coconogacco, a creative design institute set up by Japanese designer Yoshikazu Yamagata of writtenafterwards. In July of 2010, he won the ITS#Nine competition. In October of 2010, he participated in Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo #11.

1987年生まれのニシヤマタカシは文化服装学院に2006年から2009年に在学。その後、writtenafterwardsのデザイナー　山縣良和が主催する「ここのがっこう」のアドヴァンス・コースに参加。2010年7月、イタリアの国際的ファッションコンテスト「ITS#NINE（イッツナイン）」にてグランプリを獲得し、2010年10月にはジャパン・ファッションウィーク・トーキョー#11にてコレクションを発表した。

Takashi Nishiyama became the first Japanese designer ever to win the prestigious International Talent Support (ITS) fashion contest. The judges for ITS#Nine included fashion designers Viktor&Rolf, Vogue Italy editor Sara Maino, and Nina Nitsche of Maison Martin Margiela.

ニシヤマタカシはイタリアのインターナショナル・タレント・サポート（ITS)でグランプリを獲得した初めての日本人デザイナー。ITS#NINEの審査員はデザイナーのヴィクター＆ロルフ、イタリア版VOGUEのサラ・マイノ、メゾン・マルタン・マルジェラの Nina Nitsche など。

("Japanese Beauty")

Since I started painting, mainly I have painted japanese portrait.

When we had the photo shooting for this project , I ordered photographer, make up artist, hair stylist to use japanese models.

Everyone said it's impossible to make cool photos with only japanese models.

But I persuaded them and we succeeded it.

So I want to show Japanese are beautiful and we should be confident more by this art fair.

押したら笑う人形が電池の消耗や機械の故障によって笑わなくなることで死を表現。

（※電池の交換等は出来ません）

designer：西家康隆

幼少の頃より音楽・漫画に傾倒。ガレージ・サイケ・モッズ・GS等の影響を受け
"out vote's（アウトボウツ）"を結成。大学在学中に渡仏。

帰国後、アパレルメーカー等、数社に勤務後、2007年に独立。
同時に"TATARImokke"の創作活動がスタート。ギャラリー等での展示会やショーが物議を起こす。
09a/wよりユニセックスブランドとして1stコレクションを発表。

現在はWHOLE COSMIC WHOOPのディレクターとして複数のブランドを運営している。

("Japanese Beauty")

Since I started painting, mainly I have painted japanese portrait.

When we had the photo shooting for this project , I ordered photographer, make up artist, hair stylist to use japanese models.

Everyone said it's impossible to make cool photos with only japanese models.

But I persuaded them and we succeeded it.

So I want to show Japanese are beautiful and we should be confident more by this art fair.

幼少の頃より音楽・漫画に傾倒。ガレージ・サイケ・モッズ・GS等の影響を受け
"out vote's（アウトボウツ）"を結成。大学在学中に渡仏。

Because of the catastrophe in Japan, Tokyo Fashion Week, which was to have taken place at the end of March, had to be cancelled. To support Japanese designers, the initiative "Tokyo Gakudan":http://tokyo-gakudan-berlin.com was formed in Japan. Made up of representatives from different areas such as fashion design, product design and art, the group initiates benefit projects. For Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin TOKYO GOES BERLIN was launched.

日本を襲った混乱のために、3月末に予定されていた東京ファッションウィークはキャンセルされた。日本のデザイナーをサポートするため、日本にて　"Tokyo Gakudan" http://tokyo-gakudan-berlin.com をスタート。ファッション・デザインやプトダクト・デザイン、アートなどの様々な分やの代表を集め、グループで活動を開始。メルセデス・ベンツ・ファッション・ウィーク・ベルリンのために、TOKYO GOES BERLIN が設立された。

人が衣服を纏う上ですべて幾何学形態に落とし込んでパターン化することは、人体の構造と、運動機能をある程度無視しなければ作り込むことはできません。けれども、あえてそこを追求することでこれから自分がデザインし、発想していく上で糧になると思いましたのでこのテーマにしました。

ANDREA CREWS live work shop in Tokyo

東京で初のANDREA CREWSのワークショップを開催します。

(４月に予定していましたが、アイルランドの火山の影響で延期になったイベントです。）

毎回ヨーロッパで好評のANDREA CREWSのワークショップが東京で開催されます。ANDREA CREWSのクルーも来日します！！今回のワークショップでは彼らが東京で活躍する１３名のクリエーター（アーティストやデザイナーなど）と、エスモードの学生を交えて、用意されたジャケットをリメイクして作品に仕上げていくライブイベント。計１３のunique paces（１点もの）が出来上がる過程をご覧頂けます。

後日全作品の展示イベントや、アフターパーティーもあるので、是非アンドレアクルーズ達と一緒に楽しんでみてください。

MODERATTO（モデラート）はメキシコ出身のグラムメタルパロディーバンドです。多くのバンドと同様、ロックへの愛と"女の子"という高潔な目的からスタートしたMODERATTOは、やりたいことだけやり、ロックを追求するという他のロックバンドがやりたくても出来ずにいることを実現している数少ないバンドです。
数々のアルバムヒットを飛ばすなか、ラテンアメリカ、US、スペインでのノンストップツアーを敢行。毎年2回メキシコで行われるNational Auditorium（2万人収容）でのライブチケットは毎回完売で、その他にも1年に125回ものライブを行い、そのうちの15回のライブでは85000人の観客を動員。まさに毎年200万人を楽しませるバンドです。
そのMODERATTOの初の来日を記念して、いままでにないプライベートライブを渋谷・トランプルームで行います。このライブを観れば、ラテンアメリカ、もしくは世界中でもトップグラムメタルバンドだといわれている理由がわかるはず！

MODERATTO is a Mexican Glam Metal parody band who started for the same reason every band starts: for the love for rock and to meet girls. And on their way to this noble goal they've reached what other bands can only dream of, doing what they like and rocking harder than ever. Having reached hundreds of thousands of album sales they have been touring non stop across Latin America, US and Spain. Every year has 2 sold-out dates at National Auditorium (20 thousand people) and another for 12 thousand people. Also their national tour extended for 125 dates for a year. Fifteen of them were massive shows in front of more than 85 thousand people. A total of 2 million people enjoyed their show in through all their tour every year. For their very first visit to Tokyo they have prepared something never done before by the band, an intimate live performance just for 150 people at the iconic Trump Room in Shibuya! This live-showcase will prove why MODERATTO is consider the top Glam Metal band in Latin America and very possible among the top Metal Glam bands in the world!

Triple-Major は香港とロサンジェルスに基盤を置いているクリエイティブスタジオ、そしてアーティストに既存のカルチャーを再考してもらうといったイベントをオーガナイズするエージェント。この Triple-Major が今回の PROJECT WHITE T-SHIRT の展示をオーガナイザー! ディレクターの Ritchie は今日本にいて、Wut berlin でのディスプレイの準備をしているよ!!

Based in Hong Kong and Los Angeles, Triple-Major is a creative studio and agency that organizes events and represents artists who reinvent popular culture. They are the organizer of the PROJECT WHITE T-SHIRT exhibition! Ritchie, the director of Triple-Major, is actually in Tokyo to prepare the display for the exhibition at Wut berlin!!

この展示会では、スペシャルボックスセットが販売されるよ。中身はこんな感じ:

Project White T-Shirt で Anntian はケンタウルスにインスパイアされたリメイクを製作。動物の洋服から人間の洋服を作るという逆転のコンセプトからスタートしました。馬用のTシャツを作り、それを人間のトルソーにつけて変形の形を産み出したのです。馬を人間の体の代わりにすること、馬用のTシャツを作ることで、Tシャツの新しいユニークなヴァリエーションを創り出しました。

For Project White T-Shirt, Anntian was inspired by centaurs. They began with reversing the concept of human clothing for animals and instead created a T-shirt for a horse, which was then altered to drape on the human torso. By substituting the human body with a horse, fitting a T-shirt for that horse, and redesigning the subsequent T-shirt formed, Anntian produced a unique variation of the classic T-shirt.

ANNTIAN- INSTALLATION AW10/11

昨日の夜のベルリンは -13°C !! ほんとに寒くて、ありえなかった!! でも、まぁそれでも、ANNTIAN の2010秋冬コレクションのインスタレーション " WALK THE LIGHT" を見に行ったよ。会場は Kreuzberg エリアにある、"Salon K" っていう不思議なギャラリー。

Last night, it was -13°C in Berlin!! It was sooo cold, you can't believe!! But, even so, I went to see

" WALK THE LIGHT" an INSTALLATION AW10/11 by ANNTIAN. The exhibition was taking place at "Salon K", a strange gallery in Kreuzberg area...

ANNTIAN は新しい秋冬コレクションを、ダンボールのボックスのなかにディスプレイしてて。。。

ANNTIAN presented their new Autumn & Winter collection inside of a pile of paper boxes...

次シーズンのインスピレーションは、普通のアパートの内装: 床、壁紙、とか、、、

Their inspiration for next season comes from the banal environment inside of apartments: floor, wallpaper, etc...

ギャラリーの地下には、木を主に使った暗い雰囲気のバーがあって、、、すごく、デビット・リンチの映画の中にいる気分になったよ。。。おもしろいビデオを撮ったからみてみてね。

Under the gallery, on the basement, there was a little wooden bar with a dark atmosphere... I really felt like inside a David Lynch movie... This is a little funny video I made there...

昨日の夜は、すばらしき才能のデザイナー VLADIMIR KARALEEV の2010-11秋冬コレクションのプレゼンテーション! タイトルは "PRO FORMA"。

Last night, enormously talented fashion designer VLADIMIR KARALEEV presented his new Autumn & Winter 2010-11 collection, titled "PRO FORMA" !

コレクションはすごく構築的で、ヴォリューミーと同時にミニマル。素材やカラーにはコントラストがみられたよ。お見事!

The collection is very sculptural, voluminous and minimalist at the same time. Fabrics and colors are contrasted. Magnificent!

このスタイリングを見てよ!! もし、僕が女性だったら、もう毎日のように着るねっ!!

I LOVE THIS STYLING!! If I was a woman, I would dress like this EVERY FUCKING DAY!!

大川正太さんは27歳の日本人アーティスト。何年か前に出会ったんだけど、作品に一目惚れしたんだよ。彼のドローイングやペインティングの鋭さと暗さがとても好き。何ていうか、Wut berlin のスピリットとすごく強い繋がりを感じる世界観を持ってる。

Shota Ohkawa is a 27 years old Japanese artist. I met him few years ago and felt immediately in love with his Art work. I like the sharpness and the darkness of his drawings and paintings. Somehow, his world has a very strong connection with the spirit of our store Wut berlin.

みんなに彼の展示を Wut berlin へ見にくることをほんとにオススメするよ! なぜって、素晴らしい作品だし、その上 Wut berlin の表参道移転1周年でもあるから! 30日のパーティには、シャンパンでお祝い!!

8月23日の日曜日、腰越海岸に新しくオープンした大きなカフェハウス、LOST ABEACH ( 江ノ島駅から8分 ) に友達とDJをするのに招待されて行ってきたよ。海の目の前の砂浜のカフェ!!

On Sunday 08/23, I was invited to be DJ with my friends in a large, newly opened cafe house named LOST BEACH (8 mins from Enoshima station) on Koshigoe Beach. It's right on the sand, and in front of the ocean!!

小さなかわいい江ノ島電鉄に乗って向かったよ。

We used this little cute ENOSHIMA ELECTRIC RAILWAY to go there!!

天気はそんなによくなかったけど、実際全く関係なしっ!! 楽しかった!!

The weather wasn't so great, but it didn't really matter!! We had a lot of fun anyway!!

僕と友達は15時30分頃から音楽を流したよ。

My friends and myself started to play music around 15:30!!

で、あとは KINKY BEATZ によるダンス･パフォーマンス。とっても印象的で、衣装はLady Gaga みたい!!

And there was a very nice dance performance by the KINKY BEATZ!! They were very impressive and dressed like Lady Gaga!!

On Saturday 25th of July, we had a party at the store to celebrate the launch of the T-shirt

brand SKANK. It was really fun!!

彼らの友達の Rob Kidney がパーティ中にウィンドーにドローイングを!!

A.D.DEERTZ の10SSのコレクションのプレゼンテーションに、僕の大好きなベルリンのエレクトロ・バンド、BODI BILLのライブが!!

As a presentation of her new SS10 collection, A.D.DEERTZ invited my favorite Berlin based electro band BODI BILL!!

ショップの中だけじゃスペースは足りないから、演奏はショップのウインドーで、みんなは外から聴いていた!!

As there was not enough space in the store, the band was performing inside the shop window and the audience could watch and listen from the outside!!

とにかく、A.D.DEERTZ の2010春夏コレクションはとってもよくって、バンドのメンバーが着ていたよ!!

By the way, A.D.DEERTZ new Spring&Summer 2010 collection looks really great!! The members of the band were wearing it!!

2010春夏コレクションを僕に見せてくれたあと、ANNTIAN の Anne と Christian は彼らの美しいアトリエでディナーを用意してくれた!!

After presenting me their next Spring&Summer 2010 collection, Anne & Christian prepared a very nice dinner at their beautiful place!!

ディナーの後、Mitte での C.MEEON のパーティへ。場所は中庭で、ムービーを周りの建物に映している演出!! 音楽もとってもよかったのに、警察が来てしまって、ボリュームを下げてしまった。。。がっかり!!

After dinner, we went together to the C.NEEON party in Mitte. It was in a backyard with movie projection on the surrounding buildings!! The music they were playing was very nice, but the police came to put the volume down... Too bad!!

STARSTYLING の Kai、Esther Perbandt、Ettina (KONK) とANNTIANの二人もいたよ!!

KAVIAR GAUCHE started their first Bridal Couture collection!! I wish I could be a woman to dress in Kaviar Gauche for my wedding!!

Esther は、新作の2010春夏コレクションのプレゼンテーションを、 Mitte にある自分の店の前の路上で行うという素敵なアイデア!! ライブをイメージしたコレクションで、カラーは赤、黒、白。キー・アイテムは黒のブリーチデニム!!

Esther had this great idea to do her new Spring-Summer 2010 collection presentation on the street in front of her store in Mitte!! Her collection is about music live and colors are focused on red, black and white. The key fabric is the black bleached denim!!

モデルはオーケストラに合わせて踊ったり歌ったり。

The models were dancing and singing with the orchestra!!

Esther がモデルに加わって一緒に踊り始めた時、泣きたいくらいの気持ちになりました。。。あまりの幸福感で!!

When I saw Esther joining the models and dancing with them, I felt such a strong emotion that I started to cry... of happiness!!

この素晴らしいパーフォーンスを見せた Esther に心からブラボー!! ちょっとだけ撮った動画を載せておくよ!!

STARSTYLING は彼らの2010春夏コレクションのファッション･ショーで感動的なパフォーマンスを見せてくれました!!

STARSTYLING gave us to see an impressive performance during their next spring-summer 2010 fashion show!!

とてもコンセプチュアルな先シーズン、09-10秋冬コレクションによる導入の後、10春夏のプレゼンテーションが素晴らしいスタイリングでスタート!!

After a very conceptual introduction of their last AW09-10 collection, the SS10 presentation started with amazing styling effects!!

たくさんのカラフルなベロクロのバンデージを直接洋服に取り付けたり、アクセサリーとして使ったり。

They used a lot of neon colored velcro bandages coming directly on their clothes or as accessories.

音楽もとても良くて、ショーを見ている間、すごく強い感情を味わいました。。。

彼らのクリエイティブな世界を見せてくれた STARSTYLING に心から感謝!!

The soundtrack of the show was great and I felt a very strong emotion while I was watching the show...

FASHION WEEK BERLIN 2010

今日は、今シーズンベルリンに戻ってきた代表的な合同展示会の BREAD&BUTTER に行ってきました!!

場所は、去年閉鎖された素晴らしきベルリン・テンペルホーフ国際空港!! この空港はかつて地球上でもっとも大きい建築のTOP20に入っていた建物。

Today, I went to the famous fashion fair BREAD&BUTTER, which came back to Berlin this season!!

It was taking place in the amazing presently-closed Berlin Tempelhof Airport!! Tempelhof Airport's main building was once among the top 20 largest buildings on earth.

お気に入りのネイルブランド USLU AIRLINES が BREAD&BUTTER スペシャル・カラーを出してた!!

I was glad to find that our favorite nail polish brand, USLU AIRLINES, made some special colors for BREAD & BUTTER!!

夜には有名な Berlin University of the Arts の学生達による UdK ファッション･ショーを見に行ったよ。ショーの完成度の高さには驚いて感動した!! この不況時、学生達が落ち込むことなく近未来的な洋服を創造し続けているのはすごい!!

In the evening, I went to see the UdK Fashion Show by students of the famous Berlin University of the Arts. I've been surprised and touched by the high creative level of the show!! In this recession time, it was very nice to see that some students don't get depressed and keep imaging very futuristic clothes!!

まぁもちろん、ショーの前には素晴らしいディナー (15ユーロで色んなタパスのセレクション) を、KONKと同じ通りの角にあるスペイン料理のお店で!! ちょ・う・お・い・し・い!!

By the way, before the show, I had this wonderful dinner (a selection of different Tapas for 15 euros) in a Spanish restaurant, located at the corner of the same street with KONK!! D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!

昨日は、ANNTIANと一緒に浅草に行ってきました。Anneはおみくじを引いてみたんだけど、すごくいいことが書いてあったよ!!

それからケイコ（H.P.FRANCE Boutiqueのバイヤー）が来てくれて、お好み焼きを食べに。昔ながらの古い雰囲気のお店で、とってもよかった!!

AnneとChristianはとっても楽しんでいたよ。でも、ChristianはコーラでAnneは烏龍茶を飲んでたから、僕だけワイン・・・!!

帰る前に、もう一回ライトアップされた浅草寺を見に。そこから超でっかいアイスクリームを食べにファミリーレストランへ・・・。楽しい休日でした!!

Yesterday, ANNTIAN and me went to visit Asakusa together. Anne tried Omikuji and the resulting fortune was very good!!

Then, Keiko (Buyer of H.P. FRANCE Boutique) joined us to eat some Okonomiyaki!! It was a very nice traditional style restaurant and really inexpensive!!

Anne and Christian really enjoyed the food!! But, Christian was drinking Coca-Cola and Anne Oolong cha... So, I was the only one to drink wine!!

Before to go back, we went to see again the illuminated Temple!! Then, we had some huge ice cream at family restaurant... We had a very nice day!!

ANNTIAN in Tokyo (Part I)

4月10日、僕は7時に起きて大好きなデザイナー、ANNTIAN を成田空港まで向かえに行きました!! 快適なフライトだったらしくて、東京に来たことに大興奮な様子!!

荷物をホテルに置いて、早速桜を見に新宿御苑へ（写真は次の日記でアップするよ!!）。そこから、Wut berlin が見たいっていうのでお店へ。とても気に入ってくれました!! 僕もお店に連れて来れて本当に嬉しい!!

次の日、AnneとChristianはお店のウィンドー・インスタレーションを作ってくれました。超プロフェッショナルでほんとに細かい!! とても素敵なインスタレーションで、彼らが作っている場面を見るのも面白かった!!

明日は浅草へ観光の予定。

18日の土曜日にWut berlinのお店でパーティがあること、忘れないで!! 18時半から20時半だよ!!

On Friday 10th, I woke up at 7:00 to go to pick up our favorite designers, ANNTIAN, at Narita airport!! They had a very good flight and they are sooo excited to be in Tokyo!!

After dropping their baggages at hotel, we went directly to see the Cherry blossom at Shinjuku Gyoen (pictures will come in the next post!!). Then, they wanted to have a look at our store, Wut berlin, and they really like it!! I was sooo glad to welcome them in our store!!

The next day, Anne and Christian came to the store again to display their installation in the shop window. They are so professional and meticulous!! It looks really nice and it is a real pleasure to look at them working!!

Tomorrow, I will bring them to Asakusa...

Vladimir Karaleev in Tokyo!!

僕達の大好きなデザイナー、才能あふれる VLADIMIR KARALEEV が2月13日の金曜日から23日月曜日まで東京に来ていました!!

一日目、少し時差ぼけみたいだったけど、この来日にすごく興奮していて、沢山写真を撮っていましたよ!!

そして、ストリートスナップで有名なDROPはさすが、逃さず彼の写真を撮っていました!!

2日目、Wut berlinのお店にてスペシャルなディスプレイを創ってくれました。大きなバックパックにいっぱいのゴミをベルリンから持ってきて、ウィンドーに左右対称に並べていったのです。

Vladimir は194cmと長身だから、日本の人たちは驚くみたい!!

日曜日には、浅草に一緒に行きました!! 彼はとにかく日本の食べ物が気に入ったみたいで、ほんとに何でも食べる!!

17、18、19日には、rooms でのショールーム。Vladimir も一緒にブースに立って、彼のブランドが大好きなバイヤー達に会うことができました!!

夜には焼肉へ。もう、これ以上の食べ物はないって誓ってたよ!

20日金曜日には、Wut berlinで Vladimir とお店の3周年をお祝いするパーティを!! 沢山の人が彼に会いに来てくれて、Vladimir は彼のお洋服を買ってくれたお客様のショッピングバックにサインをしてくれました!!

2009年春夏の彼のディスプレイは素晴らしい!!

Vladimir のパーティの装いはとてもスタイリッシュ!! 90年代プリントのシャツと大きな蝶ネクタイ!!

東京を離れる際には涙を浮かべていたよ･･･。でも、またすぐに来たいって言ってる!!

Our favorite designer, the very talented VLADIMIR KARALEEV, came to visit us in Tokyo from Friday 13th to Monday 23rd February!!

The first days, he was a little bit Jet Lag, but he was so excited that he still had power to take many pictures!!

Also, the famous website DROP didn't miss the chance to take his picture!!

The second day, he came to the store to make a special installation. He had bring many garbages in his Back Bag from Berlin, which he displayed in the window in a symmetrical way.

Vladimir is 1m94 tall, so he was very impressive for Japanese people!! On Sunday, we went together to Asakusa!! Vladimir loves Japanese food, so he can eat almost everything!!

On 17, 18 and 19, we had our showroom exhibition at rooms. Vladimir staid with us to meet the buyers who loves his brand too!!

In the evening, he enjoyed a lot yakiniku!! He swears that there is nothing better than a korean bbq!

On Friday 20th, we had a party at the store with Vladimir for the 3rd Anniversary of Wut berlin!! Many people came to meet him and Vladimir signed the shopping bags of the people who bought his clothes!!

The display of Vladimir's spring-summer 2009 collection was very impressive!!

Vladimir was very stylish at the party!! He was wearing a 90's printed style shirts and a big butterfly!!

Vladimir has left Tokyo with tears in his eyes... But he wants to come back soon again!!

2月17日から19日まで代々木体育館で行われた合同展示会、 "rooms 18" にて Showroom Wut berlin は9つのベルリンブランドの2009-10年秋冬コレクションを紹介しました。

今回はそれぞれのブランドを個別に紹介したいと思って、小さな木の家を建てることにしました!! モダンに見えるように、ネオンライトもつけて。3日間の展示会、とても楽しかった!!

From February 17 to 19th, the showroom Wut berlin presented the autumn & winter 2009-2010 collections of 9 Berlin brands at the big trade fair "rooms 18" at Yoyogi National Stadium!!

I wanted to present each brand individually, so I decided to built little wood house for each brand!! To make it look more modern, we added some neon lights. We had a lot of fun during the 3 days exhibition!!

From Copenhagen!! Part 3

今朝は、トレード･ショー、CPH VISIONでたまたま帽子デザイナーのKlaus Muhlbauerに会いました。彼は僕の大好きな日本のバンド、くるりに特別な帽子を作ったことがあって、それから僕は彼のことがとても好きなのです!!

夜、MuhlbauerとEttinaと僕はこのファッション・ウィークの中で一番重要なイベント、Henrik Vibskovのショーに出かけました!! 1000人以上の人々が、凍えるような気温の中に行列をなしていました。

ショーがはじまる前にトイレに入ったのですが、これがすばらしくデコレーションされてる!!

キャット・ウォークとインスタレーションも、ほんっとに素晴らしい!!! 大きなストライプの輪が長いステージの真ん中にあって、ショーがスタートするとモデルが輪の中で走りはじめたのです!!

ショーの後、フリー・ビールのパーティがありました! KlausとEttinaと僕はみんなすごく楽しみました! すごいパーティだった!!

In the morning, I met by happen the headwear designer Klaus Muhlbauer at the CPH VISION Trade Show!! I like him very much since he made special hats for my favorite Japanese rock group QURULI!!

In the evening, Muhlbauer, Ettina and me went to one of the most important event during this Fashion Week: the Henrik Vibskov show!! There was an endless queue of more than 1000 people , outside venue in freezing cold weather.

Before the show started, I went to the toilets, which were amazingly decorated!!

The Catwalk and installation were also amazing!! Big stripe wheels were in middle of long catwalk. And when the show started, models started running on these wheels!!

After the show, there was a party with free beer ! Klaus, Ettina and me had a lot of fun!! It was an amazing party!!

From Berlin, part 4

朝から、デザイナーのEsther Perbandtと朝食ミーティング。新しい秋冬コレクションはとてもよくて、僕は髪の毛のネックレスが気に入りました!!

次のミーティングはVladimir Karaleevと。いつもと同じように、彼のコレクションは全部大好き!! もうすぐVladimir Karallevは来日します。Wut berlinでインスタレーションと2月20日にはパーティがあることを忘れないで!!

ディナーにはEttinaとドイツ料理のお店 "ATARDTKLAUSE" へ。料理はシンプル、家庭的で新鮮。早い時間に行ったから、お店には誰もいませんでした。今日のEttinaのレッド・リップはすごくかわいい!!

22:00には、"POSTBAHNHOF" へBERNHARD WILLHELMの秋冬コレクションを見に行きました。素晴らしかった!! モデルの間を歩くことができるのです。今回のコレクションテーマ、アートとスキーウェアのミックス、がとても気に入りました。

そこからPOTIPOTIのデザイナー2人とPROJEKT GALERIEのクロージング・パーティへ。Alexander Platzにある、迷路のような場所でありました。楽しかった!!

In the morning, I had a breakfast meeting with the designer Esther Perbandt. She made a nice autumn-winter collection and I loved her "hair" necklaces!!

The next meeting was with Vladimir Karaleev. As usual, I loved each piece of his new collection!! Do not forget that Vladimir is coming to Tokyo and that we'll have a party/exhibition at "Wut berlin" with him on February 20th!!

For dinner, I went with Ettina at "STADTKLAUSE", a German food restaurant. The food is simple, homemade and fresh. We went there very early, so there was nobody in the restaurant!! I liked very much that Ettina put on a little red lipstick today!!

At 22:00, we went to the "POSTBAHNHOF" to see the BERNHARD WILLHELM autumn-winter presentation!! It was really great!! People could walk around the models. I liked his collection theme, which was a mix of art and ski wear!!

Then, I went with the designers of POTIPOTI to the closing party of the PROJEKT GALERIE exhibition. The party was held in a labyrinthine space on Alexander Platz. It was quite fun!!

ベルリンで朝、目が覚めると、、、3度!! 寒い!!

今日はランチをMitteにある"Gorilla"で食べました。新鮮、ヘルシー、100%バイオロジックなドイツ料理のバイキングです。おいしかった!!

そして午後、セレクトショップKONKへ、C-NEEONの新しいコレクションの立ち上げパーティに行きました。デザイナーはとても素敵なディスプレイを作っていました。紙のお皿を壁に貼り、大きな蝶をイメージしたインスタレーション!! KONKのバイヤーのEttinaは美味しいお茶とケーキを来店したお客さんにふるまっていました!

今、ちょうど寝ようとしているところです。。。気温は、、、4度!!!

When I woke up this morning in Berlin, it was - 3 degrees!! Freezing!!

Today, I had lunch at "Gorilla", in the "Mitte" area. It is a healthy, fresh, 100% biologic and regional self-service restaurant!! It was really good!!

Then, in the evening, I went to the opening of C-NEEON collection at KONK store. The designers made a very nice decoration in the shop: paper dishes on the wall were actually illustrating a giant butterfly!! Ettina, the shop buyer, served delicious tea and cake to the visitors!

Now I'm going to sleep... The temperature is - 4 degrees!!

2008 was a really great year! Me and my team are so happy that we moved to Omotesando and that we can show you our selection in a much bigger space!

2009 will be even greater!!! Next February, Wut berlin will have its 3rd year Anniversary!!! To celebrate the event, the great designer, Vladimir Karaleev, will come to Tokyo and make a special art installation in the store! So, you'll be able to meet him! And in next April, we'll receive the visit in the store of the duo of designers, ANNTIAN!!! They will also make a special window display for us!

ANNTIANのデザイナー、アンヌからこんなメールが届きました。

「ハロー、ヤン。

私の女友達で昨夏から世界旅行をしている子がいるんですが、今彼女は東京に住んでいて、イラストレーションをやっています。お時間ある時に彼女の東京での展示を見に行ってみませんか？

東京のCafe Pause Galleryというギャラリーで展示をやっています。展示の名前は「Cut Mars Black」です。理由は、作品のほとんどが切り紙や、切り紙と鉛筆のドローイングのミクスチュアで、イエロープリムローズとかコバルトティールとかマーズブラックのように想像をかきたてる名前の色を使っているからです。

近くに行く機会があれば、オープニングは10月20日の7時PMからなので遊びに行ってみてください。

それに、もしかしていつの日か、彼女があなたのショップのデコレーションとか何かやれるかもしれませんよ。

I've received this e-mail from Anne, designer of ANNTIAN:

"HELLO YANN,

THIS IS A GIRLFRIEND OF MINE, SHE MADE A WORLDTRIP WHICH SHE STARTED LAST SUMMER, AND NOW SHE LIVES IN TOKYO. SHES DOING ILLUSTRATIONS. MAYBE IF YOU HAVE FREE TIME, YOU CAN VISIT HER EXHIBITION IN TOKYO?

She is doing a show at Café Pause Gallery in Tokyo. It's called "Cut Mars Black" because most of the artwork is papercut or a mixture of papercut and pencil drawing and she is using colors with inspiring names like yellow primrose, cobalt teal and - mars black.

So, if you happen to be around, the opening will be on October 20, 7 p.m.

Laforet Fashion Show

先日、ラフォーレ原宿で雑誌『SMART』とのコラボレーションによるメンズのファッションショウが行われ、見に行きました。

セレクトショップのWALLもこのイベントに参加して、ADD、ANNTIAN、FRANZIUS、POTIPOTIというベルリンのブランドを紹介してくれました。

スタイリングがとても良かったのでとても嬉しくなりました！

Yesterday, I went to see the Men's Fashion Show at Laforet Harajuku in collaboration with the famous magazine SMART!

The select shop WALL was joining the event by introducing the Berlin labels ADD, ANNTIAN, FRANZIUS and POTIPOTI!!!

The styling was very nice and I felt very glad!!!

"Apparat"というバンドが演奏している店、Y-3でLuisに合流する時間だった！　素晴らしい音を出すクールなバンドで、とても感動した！

もしかしたら、皆、"magical drink"（Luisがそう呼んでいた！）というお酒を同時に飲んでいたせいかもしれないけれど!?　僕は3杯飲んだけれど、ものすごく美味しい！　気づくと僕は、プエルトリコの女の子とスウェーデンから来たAcne Jeansかどこかで働いている女の子に挟まれて話をしていた...。　ベルリンは、時々、本当に"magical"だ！

Ettinaの店、KONKで行われたファッションイベントに行った！

Ostwald Helgason、Anntian、Cem Cako、Robert Huth、Sabrina Seifried、Josefine Jarzombekといったベルリンのブランドがプレゼンテーションとコレクションの販売を1ヶ月間行っている。

同時にStephanie FRANZIUSも同じ一角にあるギャラリーで、小さなインスタレーションを発表している。彼女が見せている09SSコレクションの新しいルックは、まるでパズルみたいだった。子供たちはプリントされたパズルの紙に無料で色を塗れる。

It was time to join Luis at the Y-3 store, where the band "Apparat" was playing! A very cool band with great sound! I was really impressed!

Or maybe, is that because they were serving a "magical drink" (that's the way Luis called it!)with alcohol at the same time?! I had three glasses of it, as it was sooo tasty!!! Then, I found myself talking with a girl from Puerto Rico and another one from Sweden, working for the denim brand Acne Jeans...??? Berlin is really "magical" sometimes!

18:00: ++Opening Beck´s Fashion Experience Temporary Store im KONK, 17. Juli, 18 Uhr++

I went to the Fashion event at Ettina's store, KONK!

The Berlin designers Ostwald Helgason, Anntian, Cem Cako, Robert Huth, Sabrina Seifried and Josefine Jarzombek are presenting and selling their collections there for a month.

At the same time, Stephanie FRANZIUS was having a little installation in an other gallery at the corner! She was showing the new print of her next Spring-Summer collection which looks like a puzzle. Children were free to draw colors on printed puzzle papers!

皆さん、こんにちは！

今、私はベルリン・ファッションウィークに来ています！　こちらは寒くて雨ですが、でもとても楽しんでいます！

7月17日：

12:00 HUGO BOSS Fashion Show by Bruno Pieters

Stephanie FRANZIUSからHUGO BOSS Fashion Showを一緒に見に行こうと招待してもらいました。私はこのブランドがすごく好きというわけではなかったのですが、Bruno Pietersが新しいアートディレクターに就任したので、見たら面白いかもしれないと思ったわけです。今、HUGO BOSSが再び脚光を浴びつつあり、それはひとえにBrunoが舵取りをしているせいだろうと思ったので‥‥。

ファッションショウは海のそばの古い倉庫で行われ、その場所はショウを観にきたVIPの人たちのきらびやかな様子とまったく対照的でした！　入場前に、みんなグラスシャンペンかストロベリー・スムージーをもらえます！　それから建物の中に入ると、『SEX AND THE CITY』のサマンサ役の女優がフロントロウに座っています！　そして、ショウが始まりました‥‥。

ショウは‥‥素晴らしかったです！　正直、Bruno Pieters自身の美意識に近いものが出てくるとはあまり期待していなかったのですが。ハイネックのカラーシャツとカラーブロッキングされたアイテムは非常に印象的でした！ Brunoの際立った強みの一つである仕立ての良さはもちろんのこと、コレクションはBrunoがごく最近の自身の作品で発表しているものとかけ離れた内容でありませんでした。

HUGO BOSSというより、むしろBruno Pietersといった感じで、私はそこが気に入りました。

Hello from Berlin!!!

I am currently in Berlin for the Fashion Week! The weather is cold and rainy, but I have a lot of fun!!!

On 07/17:

12:00 HUGO BOSS Fashion Show by Bruno Pieters

Stephanie FRANZIUS invited me to come with her to see the HUGO BOSS fashion show. I am not a huge fan of the brand, but, since BRUNO PIETERS became the new art director, I thought that it might be interesting to see it. I think It was time that Hugo Boss becomes relevant again and this might just do with Bruno at the helm...

The fashion show took place in a very old warehouse near the water, which was really contrasting with the V.I.P. crowd coming for the show! Before to enter, everybody could get a cup of champaign or some strawberry smooth juice! Then, we could enter the building and the actress "Samantha" from SEX AND THE CITY just came to sit on the front raw! Then, the show started...

Wow...it was really great! really wasn't expecting anything as close to Bruno Pieters's own aesthetics as that. High neck collar shirts and color blocking items were very impressive! the tailoring of course was a given since that is one of his tremendous strengths but the collection wasn't that far from what he's been doing in his own work in his most recent seasons.

It does looks more Pieters than Hugo and I love that..

Hedi Slimane and Dazed & Confused Japan Rock Diary Tokyo Night July 14th

昨夜、スタッフと私とで六本木のクラブ"Super Deluxe"に、エディ・スリマンのDJプレイを観に行きました！

ご存知の通り、エディ・スリマンはディオール・オムの前任デザイナーです。彼は過去10年間のメンズ服のシルエットを完全に覆してしまい、ファッションの歴史に永遠に名前を刻んだ人です。

昨日のパーティーのために彼が選んだ音楽は、とても80年代ニューウェーブ的でした！　彼がかけた曲のいくつかは私たちがWut berlinで流しているのと同じ曲でした。　私たちの音楽の趣味は似ているようです！

お客さんは、もちろんとてもファッショナブルで、雰囲気も最高でした！

Last night, my staffs and me went to the club "Super Deluxe" in Roppongi, where Hedi Slimane was playing D.J.!!!

As you know, Hedi Slimane was the former men's designer of Christian Dior. He has completely change the men's silhouette for the last 10 years and the fashion history will never forget him.

His music selection for the party was very '80s New Wave!!! Some of the songs he played are songs that we are also playing at "Wut berlin" store! I guess that we have same taste for music!

The crowd was very fashionable, of course! And the atmosphere was very good!

BERLIN FASHION WEEK

来月、私はベルリンへファッション・ウィークを見に行きます（公式スケジュールは、2008年7月17日から20日です）！

この時期、ベルリンではたくさんのファッション・ショウ、イベント、エキシヴィジョン、ファッション・アワード、そしてパーティーが行われます！

数日前、エティナ（KONKのバイヤー）からこんなメールが届きました。

「ベルリン・ファッション・ウィークが近づいてきました！　私は7月17日に店でイベントを行う予定です。このイベントは"becks fashion experience"という若手デザイナー向けファッション・コンテストとのささやかなコラボレーションのオープニングで、受賞デザイナーをKONKで4週間にわたって見せるものです。また、ANNTIANとostwald helgasonも展示します。同じ夜、通りの向こう側では、別の小さなファッション・イベントも行われます。それから、（FRANZIUSのデザイナー）ステファニーもKONKの近くで何か小さなイベントをやるようで、今準備しているそうです。ちょっとしたファッション・ナイトになりそうです！　翌日は、ニュー・ジェネレーション・アワード（ESTHER PERBANDTが受賞した）があるから、チケットを買っておきました！　あぁ、ワクワクしますね！」

年2回、ベルリン・ファッション・ウィークは最新コレクションとドイツのトレンド、国際的デザイナーやブランドを発表します。このファッション・ウィークの間、ドイツの首都はバイヤーたちのための場所になります！　ベルリン・デザイナーたちの2009年春夏コレクションを見るのが待ちきれません！

Next month, I will go to Berlin for the Fashion Week (official schedule is July 17 to 20, 2008)!!!

There will be a lot of fashion shows, events, exhibitions, fashion awards and... parties!!!

Few days ago, I received this e-mail from Ettina (the buyer of KONK):

"Berlin fashion week is getting closer! I will have an event in the store on the 17th july. it will be the openenig for a small cooperation with "becks fashion experience" (a Fashion contest for young designers). they will show for 4 weeks in konk the designers that took place in the last show, also such as ANNTIAN and ostwald helgason. across the street there will be the same night also a little fashion event and i hope that stephie (FRANZIUS designer) also will have a small event close to us, she is working on it. so be prepared for a little fashion night!

the next day will be the new geneation award (ESTHER PERBANDT is part of it!) and i got tickets for us! oh...so exciting!"

Twice a year, the Berlin Fashion Week showcases the latest collections and trends from German and international designers and labels. During this week of fashion, the German capital is the place to be for buyers! I just can't wait to be there and to see the next Spring-Summer collections 2009 of the Berlin designers!!!
