MILS is one of the young label who catched my eyes in Singapore.
すごく面白いトラベルで、いくつか新しい才能を見つけたよ。

during the Blueprint tradeshow held in tandem with AFF 2012 from May 17-20.
この注目のMILSのデザイナーは、24歳のSummy Lim。
5月17日から20日までAFF 2012 の中で行われたBlueprint にて。
MILS Spring 13 collection explores the juxtaposition of translucent fabrics over paneled structures, the futuristic sensibility with performance fabrics and the identity of the modern man.
Inspired by Aldous Huxley's Brave New World,
the 8 look collection showcases clean functionality, keen sensibility of the male body and subtle dimensions of layered translucency that reveals what's hidden within.
I Love the very clear and strong concept/direction of MILS collection.
The shapes and the black&white contrast remember me of Russian painter Kasimir Malevitch's geometric abstract art and contemporary French painter Francois Morellet's Minimal and Conceptual art.
この、MILSのとてもはっきして強いコンセプトと方向性がとても気に入ったよ。
形と黒白のコントラストから、ロシアの画家、Kasimie Malevitchの幾何学的な抽象芸術の作品と、現代フランスの画家、Francois Morelletのミニマルなコンセプチュアル・アートの世界を思い出したよ。

I also like very much Sunny Lim's previous "Resuscitation 2009" work, a project of 6 collective designers for an art installation in Theatreworks
特に、彼の前の作品、"Resuscitation 2009" がとても気に入ったよ。
"Resuscitation 2009" は劇場でのアート・インスタレーションのために6人のデザイナーたちが参加したプロジェクト。
