今日のベルリンは5度!! 週末には雪が降りそう...!!

今日は朝から、POTIPOTIの2009-10秋冬コレクションを見に "PROJEKTGALERIE" というギャラリーへ。今回、彼らはビデオ・ショーという形で新しいコレクションを発表しました。テーマは "BERLIN CLOSER" 。このビデオがほんとに素晴らしくって、このテーマがよく表現されていました。このブランドはどんどん成長しています!!

それからEttinaとMitteにある "Lebensmittel"　でランチ。レストランの中で、新鮮な野菜も売っていました!! もちろん、とてもおいしかった!!

そして、Alexanderplatzに面した "Galeria Kaufhof" のウィンドー・ディスプレイを見に行きました。そこはベルリンのトップ・ブラントのコレクションを、ファッションウィークの期間に紹介しているデパートです。Wut berlinでも取り扱っている、esther perbandtとFRANZIUSの2009春夏コレクションが展開されていました!!

19:00: KAVIAR GAUCHEのファッション・ショーへ。いつもモダンでエレガントなプレ・タ・ポルテコレクションを、素晴らしいバックと一緒に発表するこのブランドが僕は大好き!! そして今回、新しいバックのデザインに注目を向けるために、なんとモデルは・・・裸!! そして、究極で必須のアクセサリーとしてバックを持っていたのです!! これはものすごいチャレンジ。とても印象深くて、素晴らしいと思いました!!

22:30: BECK'S FASHION EXPERIENCEでの、ベストコレクションを選ぶイベントに審査員として参加。若いデザイナーのコンテストです。とても面白くて、カメラマンは僕の写真を撮るし、TVにはインタビューを受けるし、なんだかスターのような扱いを受けてしまった!!

そしてそして、とても素敵なファッション雑誌 "QVEST" のパーティへ。すごく変な場所でのパーティ。僕達の大好きなデザイナー、VLADIMIR KARALEEVがDJをしていましたよ!!

今日は楽しかった!!

Today is -5 degrees in Berlin!! It might snow on the week-end...!!

In the morning, I went to the "PROJEKTGALERIE", an exhibition where the designers POTIPOTI are presenting their next autumn-winter 2009-10 collection. This time, they made a Video Show Presentation about the theme of their new collection, "BERLIN CLOSER". The video was really nice and helped me a lot to understand their collection. Their brand is really growing-up!!

Then, I had lunch with Ettina at "Lebensmittel" in the Mitte area. Inside the restaurant, they are also selling fresh vegetables!! So, the food they serve is also very tasty!!

Then, we went to have a look at the "Galeria Kaufhof" shop-windows facing Alexanderplatz. It is a department store, which introduces Berlin Top-Labels collections during the fashion week!! Among them, there was the spring-summer 2009 collections of esther perbandt and FRANZIUS, which are also available at Wut berlin!!

At 19:00, we went to see the Fashion Show of KAVIAR GAUCHE. I really love that brand, as they are always making very modern and elegant pret-a-porter collections with extraordinary bags!! And this time, the designers really wanted to focus on their new bag designs, so all the Fashion Models were... naked!! and just carrying the bags, as the ultimate and indispensable accessory!! It was a big challenge and I thought that it was really strong and great!!

22:30: I was member of the jury for the selection of the best collections presented at the BECK'S FASHION EXPERIENCE!! It is a contest for young fashion designers. It was quite interesting and I was treated like a star, as many cameramen took my picture and TV reporters interviewed me!!

Finally, we went to the party organized by the very nice Fashion Magazine "QVEST". It was happening in a very strange location and our favorite designer, VLADIMIR KARALEEV, was doing DJ there!!

I really had a lot of fun, today!!

ベルリンで朝、目が覚めると、、、3度!! 寒い!!

今日はランチをMitteにある"Gorilla"で食べました。新鮮、ヘルシー、100%バイオロジックなドイツ料理のバイキングです。おいしかった!!

そして午後、セレクトショップKONKへ、C-NEEONの新しいコレクションの立ち上げパーティに行きました。デザイナーはとても素敵なディスプレイを作っていました。紙のお皿を壁に貼り、大きな蝶をイメージしたインスタレーション!! KONKのバイヤーのEttinaは美味しいお茶とケーキを来店したお客さんにふるまっていました!

今、ちょうど寝ようとしているところです。。。気温は、、、4度!!!

When I woke up this morning in Berlin, it was - 3 degrees!! Freezing!!

Today, I had lunch at "Gorilla", in the "Mitte" area. It is a healthy, fresh, 100% biologic and regional self-service restaurant!! It was really good!!

Then, in the evening, I went to the opening of C-NEEON collection at KONK store. The designers made a very nice decoration in the shop: paper dishes on the wall were actually illustrating a giant butterfly!! Ettina, the shop buyer, served delicious tea and cake to the visitors!

Now I'm going to sleep... The temperature is - 4 degrees!!

AKIRA NAKA

前回のroomsにて、AKIRA NAKAという素晴らしいデザイナーの春夏コレクションに出会いました!　彼はすぐに僕の好きな日本のデザイナーの一人になり、これまでのところジャパン・ファッション・ウィークのなかでただ一人、本当のモダニティとアヴァンギャルドを表現しているデザイナーと言えるでしょう。

コレクションは1910年代のロシア構成主義に影響を受けたものでした・・・ビンゴ! 彼のコレクションに一目ぼれをしたのは、何と言っても僕が黒、白、赤を使った純粋でミニマルなグラフィックの構成主義時代が大好きなせいなのです。

まぁ、AKIRA NAKAのコレクションには赤は使われていないのだけれど、カットとシルエットはとても美しい。

2月2日から、Wut berlinにてこの才能溢れるデザイナーに出会うことができますよ! 必見!! 絶対に見に来て、来て!!

At the last ROOMS exhibition, I discovered the astonishing spring-summer collection of the designer AKIRA NAKA! Immediately, he became one of my favorite Japanese designer and, so far, he is the only one who really brings modernity and avant-garde to the Japanese Fashion Week!

Moreover, for this collection, he took his inspiration from Russian Constructivist movement back in 1910s... BINGO! I felt love at the first sight for his clothes, as Constructivism art movement has also always been my most favorite period, with its pure and minimal graphics and the use of black, white and red.

However, there is no red in Akira's collection, but there are a lot of beautiful shapes and silhouettes!!!

From February 2nd, you'll be able to discover the wonderful creations of this talented designer at Wut berlin store!!! Run! Run! Run!

Colored Tights!

Wut berlinへ春夏の新作が届き始めたということは、お店のマネキンのカラータイツの色を変える時期と言うことです!

先シーズンの秋冬は、キーカラーであった赤タイツを全員に履かせていました。春夏には、レモンやアクア、フューシャピンクなどのエレクトリックでポップなアクセントカラーを取り入れることにしました!!! 新しいシーズンを楽しまなきゃですよ!!!

As Spring-Summer 2009 collections start to arrive at Wut berlin, it was time to change the tights of our mannequins in the store!

Last Autumn-Winter, all the mannequins were wearing red tights, which was the key color of the season. For Spring-Summer, I've decided to use brightly colored tights, like lemon, aqua, and fuchsia, to give an electric pop accent to our clothes!!! The new season has to be playful!!!

German TV!!!

先日、ドイツのテレビ局がWut berlinに取材に訪れました!　テレビ番組のテーマはベルリン、ニューヨーク、東京でのドイツデザイン。

東京では、Wut berlinにてお店のスタッフ、ちょうどお買い物に来てくれていたお客様、そして僕にインタビューをしました!!!

この番組は8カ国、8つの言葉で放送されるそうです!

取材中、車や飛行機などのノイズが入り、何回も同じインタビューを取り直したりして大変でした...!!!

Today, a German TV channel visited Wut berlin store to make an interview! The TV program will be about German design in Berlin, New-York and Tokyo.

About Tokyo, they will introduce Wut berlin store with the interview of our shop staff, two customers and me!!!

The TV program will be broadcasted in 8 different countries and in 8 different languages!

We had to re-do the interview many times as there was always some noises while they were making movie: cars on the street, airplanes, etc...!!!

David Cronenberg

最近、とても好きになった監督 David Cronenberg の映画をたくさん観ています。

David Paul Cronenberg ( 1943年3月15日生 ) はカナダの映画監督でたまに俳優としても活動しています。一般に、ボディ・ホラー分野の創始者の一人として知られていて、映画製作のスタイルは、人々の体の変容と感染の恐怖を爆発させるもの。彼の映画では、精神と肉体は深く影響し合います。彼のキャリアの前半では、このテーマをホラーとSFの世界で表現していますが、その後他の分野へと広がっていきます。

そこで、2つの映画を推薦します ( もちろん、全部観てみるのもいい思うよ! )

1) Videodrome ビデオドローム ( 1983年 )

安っぽいケーブルテレビのプログラマーの人生と未来が、ある幻覚を起こすテレビ番組によって制御不能に変容していくのです。

2) The Fly ザ・フライ ( 1986 )

天才だがエキセントリックな科学者が、実験が恐ろしい失敗をむかえたことで、男をハエに変えていく物語。

Recently, I've been watching a lot of movies from who became one of my favorite director now, David Cronenberg.

David Paul Cronenberg (born March 15, 1943) is a Canadian film director and occasional actor. He is one of the principal originators of what is commonly known as the body horror genre. This style of filmmaking explores people's fears of bodily transformation and infection. In his films, the psychological is typically intertwined with the physical. In the first half of his career, he explored these themes mostly through horror and science fiction, although his work has since expanded beyond these genres.

So, I would like to recommend you to watch two movies (but you can watch all of them!!!):

1) Videodrome (1983)

A sleazy cable-TV programmer begins to see his life and the future of media spin out of control in a very unusual fashion when he acquires a new kind of programming for his station.

2) The Fly (1986)

A brilliant but eccentric scientist begins to transform into a giant man/fly hybrid after one of his experiments goes horribly wrong.

Ek Thongprasert

去年の10月、パリのthe FLANDERS FASHION INSTITUTE SHOWROOMにて、ek thongprasertというデザイナーの素晴らしいネックレスのコレクションを発見しました。

彼のネックレスを見たとき、1780年代のフランスでルイ16世の妻のマリー･アントワネット妃が巻き込まれたミステリアスな詐欺事件、「首飾り事件」が思い出されました。ゴシップに汚された彼女ですから、巷ではマリー･アントワネット自身がこのとてつもなく高価なダイヤモンドのネックレスを騙し取る計画を立てたのだと噂されました。

幸運なことに、Ek Thongprasertのネックレスはラバーで出来ています。でも、すごくエレガントですから、これは「マスト・ハブ」ですよ！もちろん、Wut berlinにて紹介しています！

Last October, I discovered at the FLANDERS FASHION INSTITUTE SHOWROOM, in Paris, the wonderful necklace collection of the designer, ek thongprasert. When I saw his necklaces, I automatically remembered "the Affair of the Diamond Necklace", which was a mysterious incident in the 1780s at the court of Louis XVI of France involving his wife, Queen Marie Antoinette. The reputation of the Queen, which was already tarnished by gossip, was ruined by the implication that she had participated in a crime to defraud the crown jewellers of the cost of a very expensive diamond necklace.

Fortunately, Ek Thongprasert necklaces are made of plastic, but still look very elegant! A MUST TO HAVE!!! Available at Wut berlin, of course!!!

Yann Le Goec（ヤン・ル・ゴエック）

1976年、パリ生まれ。国立美術学校卒業後、ファッション・デザイナーとしてキャリアを積む。ジバンシィでの日本向けライセンス業務をきっかけに日本への移住を決意。エスモード大阪講師などを経て、2002年、H.P.FRANCEへ。「Wut berlin」のバイヤーとして、ベルリンの若手デザイナーを探し出し、日本に紹介するのが現在の仕事。
