来月、私はベルリンへファッション・ウィークを見に行きます（公式スケジュールは、2008年7月17日から20日です）！
この時期、ベルリンではたくさんのファッション・ショウ、イベント、エキシヴィジョン、ファッション・アワード、そしてパーティーが行われます！
数日前、エティナ（KONKのバイヤー）からこんなメールが届きました。
「ベルリン・ファッション・ウィークが近づいてきました！ 私は7月17日に店でイベントを行う予定です。このイベントは"becks fashion experience"という若手デザイナー向けファッション・コンテストとのささやかなコラボレーションのオープニングで、受賞デザイナーをKONKで4週間にわたって見せるものです。また、ANNTIANとostwald helgasonも展示します。同じ夜、通りの向こう側では、別の小さなファッション・イベントも行われます。それから、（FRANZIUSのデザイナー）ステファニーもKONKの近くで何か小さなイベントをやるようで、今準備しているそうです。ちょっとしたファッション・ナイトになりそうです！ 翌日は、ニュー・ジェネレーション・アワード（ESTHER PERBANDTが受賞した）があるから、チケットを買っておきました！ あぁ、ワクワクしますね！」
年2回、ベルリン・ファッション・ウィークは最新コレクションとドイツのトレンド、国際的デザイナーやブランドを発表します。このファッション・ウィークの間、ドイツの首都はバイヤーたちのための場所になります！ ベルリン・デザイナーたちの2009年春夏コレクションを見るのが待ちきれません！
Next month, I will go to Berlin for the Fashion Week (official schedule is July 17 to 20, 2008)!!!
There will be a lot of fashion shows, events, exhibitions, fashion awards and... parties!!!
Few days ago, I received this e-mail from Ettina (the buyer of KONK):
"Berlin fashion week is getting closer! I will have an event in the store on the 17th july. it will be the openenig for a small cooperation with "becks fashion experience" (a Fashion contest for young designers). they will show for 4 weeks in konk the designers that took place in the last show, also such as ANNTIAN and ostwald helgason. across the street there will be the same night also a little fashion event and i hope that stephie (FRANZIUS designer) also will have a small event close to us, she is working on it. so be prepared for a little fashion night!
the next day will be the new geneation award (ESTHER PERBANDT is part of it!) and i got tickets for us! oh...so exciting!"
Twice a year, the Berlin Fashion Week showcases the latest collections and trends from German and international designers and labels. During this week of fashion, the German capital is the place to be for buyers! I just can't wait to be there and to see the next Spring-Summer collections 2009 of the Berlin designers!!!

The last week-end was very rainy in Tokyo, so I decided to watch again "TWIN PEAKS" with my friend. I've got the complete TV series on DVD!!!
Twin Peaks (1990) is a television serial drama that follows the investigation of the brutal death of popular, respected teenager and homecoming queen, Laura Palmer, headed by Agent Dale Cooper.
Created by David Lynch and Mark Frost, "TWIN PEAKS" is a permanent source of inspiration for me! The floor of "Wut berlin" shop was inspired by "TWIN PEAKS"!!! It is much more than a simple TV series, very creative and enchanting. The music soundtrack is also very important, as it brings the emotions of each character. There would be so many things that I could say about "TWIN PEAKS", but the best thing to do is just to watch it and get addicted!!!
One day, a friend of mine told me that I look like Agent Dale Cooper... Well, I don't really think so!

うちのショップのスタッフが、トロントをベースにしたバンド"Crystal Castles"のニュー・シングル、『Crime Wave』を聴くよう薦めてくれました。で、聴いてみたところ・・・
このバンドと彼らのロボティック・ボイスに即座に恋に落ちてしまいました！ 本当にすごい曲です！ Crystal Castlesの音楽は、サンプラーのヘビーユースと、歪んだ女性ヴォーカルですぐに分かります。『Crime Wave』はここで聴くことができます：http://www.myspace.com/crystalcastles
そして、youtubeには誰かが『Crime Wave』で踊っているおかしな映像がアップされていました！ バンドのオリジナル・ビデオよりも、もしかしたらこちらの映像のほうがずっと面白いかもしれませんよ！ コメントにはこんなことが書き込んでありました。「これは僕が退屈したときにやることです」！
My shop staff recommended me to listen to the new single, "Crime Wave", of the Toronto-based band "Crystal Castles". So, I did...
And I fell in love immediately with the band and their robotic voice!!! A really great song!!! Crystal Castles' music is easily recognized by their heavy use of samples and distorted female vocals. You can listen "Crime Wave" here:

バルセロナの新進ブランド「Martin Lamothe」をご紹介します。
私が彼女のコレクションを見たのは、今年の3月のパリでした。Wut berlin用にAWコレクションの洋服をセレクトしたい！という気持ちを抑えることができませんでした！
デザイナーのElena Martin Ortizはロンドンのセント・マーチンスという有名校を卒業し、オリジナル・ブランドである「Martin Lamothe」を2006年に立ち上げました。最初のコレクションはバルセロナとベルリンで発表し、2度目はパリで行いました。彼女はまた、カイリー・ミノーグのようなセレブリティのスタイリングに協力したり、演劇作品や実験映画のディレクションとスタイリングにも参加しています。
彼女の作る服のボリュームとシェイプは素晴らしく、とてもロマンティックでふんわりしたシルエットです！
8月、Wut berlinの店頭に届く予定です！ 待ちきれません！
I am really glad to introduce you this new fashion label from Barcelona, Martin Lamothe.
I saw her collection in Paris, last March, and I just couldn't resist to select some of her next Autumn & Winter clothes for our shop Wut berlin!!!
The designer, Elena Martin Ortiz, graduated from the famous Central Saint Martins school in London and she decided to launch her own brand "Martin Lamothe" in 2006. She presented her first collection in both Barcelona and Berlin, and the second in Paris. She also collaborated in the styling of celebrities such as Kylie Minogue and participated in the direction and styling of theatre works and experimental filmmaking.
The volumes and shapes of her clothes are wonderful, very romantic and floaty silhouettes!
They should arrive in our shop in August!!! Can't wait!!!
ベルリンのファッション・ストア「KONK」がリニューアルしたことは5月22日のブログで書きましたが、エティナから新しいインテリアの写真が送られてきました！ とてもクールで、前よりもずっとミニマルでデザインされています。
もしベルリンを訪れる機会があったら、ぜったいに立ち寄ってみてください！ エティナのセレクションは、c.neeon、Franzius、Kaviar Gauche、Penkovなど、ベルリンでも随一のデザイナーばかりです。

*ADDは、とても素晴らしいカジュアル・ミックスなコレクション。ブルー、イエロー、グリーン、パープルといった強い色のアクセントが効いています。
*ANNTIANの方は、ハンドプリントが素晴らしいコレクションです！ 膨張した立方体の塵と形にインスパイアされたキューブ状の形。黒、白、赤がメインのカラー・ディレクション。
他にもたくさんのベルリンブランドの秋冬コレクションがあるので、お店に見つけにきてください！
From 06/17 to 22, Wut berlin shop will show Autumn-Winter collections samples of ADD and ANNTIAN labels.
* ADD: a very nice casual mix collection, with strong color accents as blue, yellow, green and purple!
* ANNTIAN: a wonderful hand printed collection! Cube shape inspired forms and dust of blown up cubes become prints. Black, white and red are main colors direction.

William BowermanとTodd Marriottというイギリス人2人組のシンセポップ・バンド"I was a Cub Scout"です。結成は2006年で、最近人気上昇中だとか。二人とも、まだたったの17歳なんです！
このビデオは彼らのニュー・シングル『Pink Squares』です。私は、切り絵を使ってビデオを作るというシンプルなテクニックが気に入っています。また、この曲のビートと歌詞も大好きです。きっと耳から離れなくなると思いますよ：

"I Was a Cub Scout" is a two-man synthpop band from England, consisting of William Bowerman and Todd Marriott. Formed in 2006, the band has recently gained popularity. They are only 17 years old!!!
This is the video of their new single, "Pink Squares". I like the simplicity of the technic they used to make that video with cut papers!
And I love the beat and the lyrics of the song(!). They will stick in your head immediately:

1976年、パリ生まれ。国立美術学校卒業後、ファッション・デザイナーとしてキャリアを積む。ジバンシィでの日本向けライセンス業務をきっかけに日本への移住を決意。エスモード大阪講師などを経て、2002年、H.P.FRANCEへ。「Wut berlin」のバイヤーとして、ベルリンの若手デザイナーを探し出し、日本に紹介するのが現在の仕事。
