Juana de Arcoが11歳になりました。創作して、デザインして、別れて、愛して...いろんな色を世界中に届けてくれた11年でした。マリアナ、Juana、ありがとう！　そして、この素晴らしいライフスタイルと日々のアートを作ってくれている、世界中のJuanaっ子の皆さん、ありがとう！

私たちはarteBAの展示会場で大きな大きなバースデーケーキとともに11歳の誕生日をお祝いしました！

Eleven years creating, designing, leaving, loving...eleven years giving colors all around the world.

Thanks Mariana and Juana!!!!!! And all the juanas that works all around the world to create this amazing life style and daily art!!!!

They celebrate this birthday in arteBA with a VERY big "CHOCOLINAS CAKE" (a typical argentine cake that we eat in each birthday)

ブエノスアイレスに寒さが訪れてきました。そして、私はジューシーで暖かい、美味しい料理を作りたくなってきました。多分、今年は娘のソフィアが生まれたばかりなので、家にいるほうが好きなせいもあるでしょう。美味しい食べ物は「home sweet home」には欠かせないものですから！

シチューやスープ、ポテトパイなんていうのはいつも大歓迎されるメニューです。

冬、ブエノスアイレスに来る場合、ユミコの大好きなメニューの一つがポテトパイです。彼女はいつもTramandoのすぐ近くのバーでポテトパイを食べます。残念ながらその店は、家賃の急上昇に耐えられず昨年クローズしてしまったのですが！

「pastel de papa（法王のパイ）」というこの人気メニューは、アルゼンチンのいたるところで作られています。どの家庭でもお母さん、お婆ちゃんが作ってくれます。

ここにレシピを書いておきますね。色んな作り方があるので、中にはお好きなものを詰めてください！

１）深めの鍋にオイルを熱して、みじん切りにした玉ねぎを炒め、牛挽肉を加える。トマトソース、オリーブ、レーズンも加え、塩コショウをふる。

２）ジャガイモを茹でてやわらかくなったら、牛乳とバターを加えながらマッシュポテトにする。

３）器に挽肉を詰め、その上にマッシュポテトを詰め、溶き卵を塗ってナツメグをふる。 

昨日のディナーにこのポテトパイを作りました。夫のアンディと娘のソフィアのための、とってもシンプルなアルゼンチン料理です。ボナペティ！

The cold is arriving to Buenos Aires and I'm more inspired in cooking taste, succulent, and hot food. Perhaps because this year I have Sofia that she is so little that we love to stay at home. Good food is so important to make a "home sweet home"!

Stews, soups and potato pies are always a great option.

The potato pie is one of Yumico's favorite foods when she stays in Bs As during winter season. She used to eat at a bar, just in the corner of Tramando. The shop closed last year when all rent on that area went up a lot!

Anyway you can have this food at any house, where is a mother or a grandmother or a family, at any place in Argentina you can have the popular "pastel de papa"

Here is the recipe. There are different ways to do it, you can put inside different things depending on what you like!

Heat oil in stockpot, add chopped onion, then, and add minced meat. You can also add tomato sauce, olives, raisins, salt, and pepper.

Boil potatoes, when they are tender, make mash potato adding milk and butter.

Place in a container, the beef in pieces and above mash potato. Paint with egg and nutmeg.

Yesterday we had "pastel de papa" for dinner. A very simple Argentinean dish with Andy and Sofia.

I loved a press article about Veronica Santesteban that I found yesterday ("Para Ti" magazine), I felt in it when I read it "How people live" concept. You can see her place, her house, full of colours and very special objects from all around the world that were founded in the most remote places.

When you see her place you can discover part of her and part of her design. Her bags and each special Santesteban object is created as an artistic manifesto, a statement of principles and values. Made one by one, with small jewels she would discover in the trunks and cases of antiquaries and fairs, embroidered with old crystals, stones, silks and Brocato fabric.

Horns are her leit motif and, like a visual artwork that evolves, Veronica has been looking for their shape, their essence. First she would use horns as a handbag handle. Later on, she started to seek variation, including cutting them in slices and applying them as precious stones, mounting them in the development of various concepts. And her goal is always to obtain the most perfect finish. All her new small line has a horn as an identification of the brand.

マルティン・チュルバはTramandoの2009クチュールコレクションを発表しました。このイベントはブエノスアイレス郊外のBeccarという地区にあるアルゼンチンの作家Victroia Ocampoの古い自宅を使って行われました。この家は4年前にアルゼンチンの国定記念施設に登録され、それ以来ここでは色んな種類のイベントやコンサートを行っています。こういったやり方で、Victoria Ocampoの「自宅をクリエイションのスペースとして生かし続けたい」という願いは叶えられたのです。

ショウは家の周りを巡るツアーで始まりました。家の周りの処々でモデルたちが当時の生活を再現した色々な活動を行っているというパフォーマンスです。これはVictoriaの生きていた時代の美とエレガンスを伝えるというアイデアからきています。その後、ガーデンに行くとすばらしく美味なサンドイッチとケーキ、そしてお茶がゲスト全員にふるまわれるのです。そこにはジャケットを着用したマルティンが待っていて、Tramandoファンの友人、家族、セレブリティーたちに挨拶します。

最後は・・・、Mariana BarajとGabriela Ayalaによる音楽と即興ダンス。モデルたちはゆっくりとガーデンを動き回って、ブエノスアイレスとパリと東京でしか販売されないという、この素晴らしいコレクションを見せてまわります。

Infinito Collection：リボンがもたらすシェイプとシルエットの探求。1本のリボンが不変性を、そして無限というアイデアを暗示します。マルティンはこのコレクションのためにSwarovski社とコラボレーションを行いました。コレクションにはSwarovskiを散りばめたドレス「CRYSTALLIZED」も含まれます。

Martín Churba has presented his Couture collection 2009. The event took place in Victoria Ocampo's old house (Argentine writer), in the neighborhood of Beccar outside the city, in the Great Buenos Aires. This house was declared National Monument 4 years ago. Since then, they organize all kind of cultural events and concerts there. In this way Victorias Ocampo's wish has been fulfilled: maintain her house alive as a space of creation.

The show started with a tour around the house. In each place of the house you could find a model doing different activities and recreating life at that time; the idea was to show the beauty and the elegance of Victoria's days: she was a precursor. Later you could go to the garden where all guests had a great tea with great sandwiches and cakes. Martin dressed with Jaquet, was there greeting friends, family, celebrities and fans of Tramando.

And finally...music and dance of Mariana Baraj and Gabriela Ayala, with tamps, lyric songs and improvised dance. Models traveled slowly the garden showing the amazing collection that will be sold only in Bs As, Paris and Japan.

Infinito collection: The rolling of the ribbons posed a constant search for the shape and silhouette; a ribbon poses continuity and says about the idea of infinity.

 ¨ for this collection Martin has done collaboration with Swarovski, including in the dresses CRYSTALLIZED - Swarovki Elements.

Juana de Arcoがあれほどたくさんの顔を持っていて、それをすばやく付け替えながら、いつでもJuanaでいられるというのは驚きです。マリアナいわく、Juanaは自然からインスピレーションを得ているからあんなに「フレッシュ」なのだそうです。

昨日、Jauanaのアートギャラリーが店内へ移転したので見に行ってきました。Juanaオープン当時と同じです。偶然、マリアナもいて、店のケアをしたり新コレクションの反応や売上げを確認したりしていました。

私は新しいギャラリーとJulian Teranの展示がとても気に入りました。

マルチカラーのLOVEという新作を買って、家に飾りました！

It is amazing how many faces Juana de Arco has and how quickly she is changing and being always Juana. Always surprising....Mariana said that Juana is so FRESH because she gets inspiration from the nature.

Yesterday I went to the store because they move the Art Gallery to the shop, the same as it used to be in the first days of Juana. By coincidence Mariana was there taking care of the shop and asking about sales and the reaction of people at the new collection.

I love the new gallery and I like very much the Julian Teran's exhibition.

I got one new special edition of multicolor, LOVE, I took a photo at home!
