Finally, Mariana, without so many consciences changed to her new apartment to fulfil her dream. More lightly she comes to this house flat.

I asked her what she will do with her old house. She tells that by chance, just as quite everything happens in Juana de Arco, a friend that works at MALBA (Latin American Museum of Buenos Aires), had consult her about her house and the cost of rent it.
At the first moment she doubted of hiring the entire house because in that place, she has collections and recollections of art and objects that she really loves, years and years materialized in different sizes and values of very special pieces, very valuable objects to be given to a stranger.
Mariana offers something different; she will hire to the Mexican curator that is coming to Buenos Aires invited by MALBA, only one room. She organizes the space in such a way that she is defining a new concept in tourism.
The package consist in an HABITATION ROOM, a common space occupied with art and books, and in the front of the house, from now on will be a textile experimentation laboratory where Mariana will spend her mornings transforming material into objects of textile art.
As a strategic point, The House, is located in the Abasto, a place in town identified popularly with that name because there it was located the ancient central market of the City (Abasto means offer).
The very famous tango singer Carlos Gardel was grown there, he was called the "Morocho del Abasto"(the Brown of the Abasto). A new alternative high quality cultural wave is emerging nowadays. This space is very convenient for any visitor with anxieties to live a fresh and unique Buenos Aires.

結局、マリアナは別のオファーをすることにしました。メキシコからMALBAの招待でブエノスアイレスを訪れたキュレーターに、この家の一部屋だけを、このままの状態で貸すことにしたのです。
美しいアートや本で一杯の贅沢な空間をそのまま住まいとして提供し、また、彼女が毎朝通ってテキスタイルアートを作っている、この家の向かいのアトリエ件ラボで作業をすることもできるという提案です。
この家があるのは、タンゴで有名なカルロス・ガルデルが育ったところとしても有名なアバスト地区です。その名（アバストはスペイン語で「供給」の意味）の通り、アバスト旧市場があることでも有名ですが、最近はカルチャー・ディストリクトとしても高く認知されてきています。そんなカルチャー発信エリアでホォアナ・デ・アルコのデザイナー、マリアナ・コルテスから素敵な提案が生まれました。文化的に他のどこでも体験できないようなフレッシュなブエノスアイレスを経験したい人なら、だれにでもお勧めの空間です。
