日本から戻ってきたばかりです。Lamp harajukuと大阪のLamp harajuku y MEXICO CHIDOでのレベッカ・ランニーの展示『ガートルードの住まいと生活』を一週間かけて設置してきました。レベッカのことはもう10年近く前から知っているのですが、一緒に展示をするを行うのはこれが初めてだったので、こうやってついに一緒に仕事をする機会がもててとても嬉しかったです。私は彼女の作品に見られるユーモアがものすごく好きです。彼女のクリエイションでいっぱいのお部屋で過ごした後にはきっと悪いことなんて起こりっこないと思います。7月末までやっているので皆さんにも見てもらうチャンスがあればと思います。
| Just got back from Japan. We installed Rebeca Raney's show Gertrude House and Garden at Lamp Harajuku and Lamp Mexico Chido in Osaka over the course of a week. I've known Rebeca now for almost ten years and this is our first exhibition together so I am very happy to have had the chance to finally work with her in this way. I absolutely love the humour in her work. I don't think you could have a bad day after being in a room filled with her creations. Hope you have a chance to see it. It is up till the end of July. |
